How it works

We geocode your address, fetch Google Solar API building insights for that rooftop, convert DC production to AC delivery (0.85 derate), pick the smallest panel layout that covers your usage, and price it with the same state-level $/watt data and post-25D tax logic as our calculators. Results are pre-qualification estimates, not an engineering design. Data last updated June 30, 2026.
